I don't remember those teams getting WALLOPED by a load of romanian wicker-basket makers,or other piss-poor european clubs. I don't see villa, spurs or chelsea gettin' THRASHED by arsenal. I doubt villa&spurs' records against the top four is worse than ours. I don't see the managers of those clubs preferring utility over speciality.

And under Moyes we've had our lowest top-flight points total, and didn't he oversee our lowest top-flight "goals scored" total, too?

One common thing about all those teams (aside arsenal, who let's face it are bigger in stature than us) change their managers almost on a yearly basis so what does that tell ya about the managers they've had? and if you dont remember villa getting beat by piss-poor european teams then you're memory aint that good. As for spurs, how often have they been in Europe the last 6 or 7 years despite spending more than us. Which you always leave out by the way, Moyes has had f*** all to spend compared to the rest.

RE: Moyes..
Villa have been beat by piss poor euro sides..but they were NEVER HUMILIATED like we were.

And whether those teams had one, two, three or more managers during Moyes tenure, there was a time we were going through managers like a vindaloo through a dog......don't remember those mangers gettin' it worked to them,or capitulating against an admittedly good arsenal side. Nor were they HUMILIATED by sending out a full-strength side to lose badly against a predominately arsenal youth side. When we had Kendall or smith, were we consistently being hammered by arsenal 1-4,1-6,7-0,0-4?? Don't think so,and none of those teams were anywhere near the one Moyes has had,are they?

And as for having no money.........isn't that another sign that we're in regression?

RE: Moyes..
i'll take a 7-0 hammering if it meant finishing 4th, not gettin beat week in week out and coming 16th. None of them finished 4th. Can you honestly say you think smith did better than moyes?

I wouldn't,even if we were league champions.

Moyes had money, smith never. Moyes is guilty of the same things smith did,but with a better squad.

Are you serious? you wouldnt want to get beat 7-0 (call it an off day) if it meant winning the league? you'd orefer to lose 2-0 1-0 etc and finish 16th???

RE: Moyes..
No,you fail to understand...............a 7-0 reverse is unacceptable to me,regardless of where we finish.

Where's your pride? Did you grin when it happened, along with that prick wright? I don't know of ANY Evertonian would like to see us lose 7-0 at ANY time. It's a disgrace.

I've seen Everton capitulate too many times under Moyes. I've seen them snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. And I've seen them scrape draws against shite sides that we all expected to thrash.

My last words on the subject..................GLASS CEILING.

I expect at the very least,an FAC final OR 5th place this season, otherwise I'll be convinced Moyes can take us no further.

I DONT fail to understand, i understand perfectly well. You said you wouldnt take a 7-0 hammering if it meant winning the league, you seem to be happier with a lower finish if it meant not gettin a bad beating. You'll always lose a few battles on the way to winning the war. Where's my pride? Would i be smiling? I'd be smiling like a chesire cat if won the league and id be extremely proud. Even if we did lose 7-0 along the way, we'd still be the best team in the country. There's nothing to smile about or be proud of by finishing way down the table but only losing games by the odd goal

I would be pissed of yeah BUT not for long mate, if everton won the league then the players would deserve to celebrate as much as anyone. Did you go down to london that day?
PS What was the ''just because it's you'' all about?
