Our sources: Rooney off to Real Madrid - EVERTON GETTING NO CUT OF PROFIT??
Our sources are suggesting Real Madrid will be Rooney's destination in January.

The source, close to the family (apparently genuine), says Rooney told relatives him to buy a United season ticket and to get a madrid one.

Also, when we signed Saha, apparently the 25% profit from Rooney was waived so if true we won't get a peny.

Also been told Donovan will be on a permanent deal.

(This isn't 100% obviously but it's what I've been told from someone who claims to be close to Coleen's family).

There seems to be confusion. There was a leaked version of the contract terms but they don't seem to be matching up. It appears to be 25% of profit so really anything above £25mil. But originally the sell on ended when we got a payment for Rooney extending his contract, or this Saha thing. f*** knows.

It's almost going be be irrelevant unless rooney is sold in January. If it gets to next summer and he has only 12 months left, clubs won't have to pay the full asking price and united will get their money back but not much profit. The only way that could happen is if its a bidding war between city and the top clubs in spain

BBC's chief football corespondent (sp?) has already confirmed we get 25% of the fee above £26m

I think there's an agreement between Premier League managers not to exploit this rule
