Everton on the verge of signing Russian striker?

It has been reported today that Everton have made an approach for Russian striker Pavel Pogrebnyak. These reports come courtesy of the player’s agent however.

The Russian talisman plays for Zenit St Petersberg and it is believed that Moyes will send scouts to watch him play in an upcoming Champions League game against Real Madrid.

Oleg Artemov, The 25-year-old’s representative, said: “I have been approached by Everton and several other English clubs.”
