Great Article and a further insight into Moyes long term strategy. To the previous poster Si, Russia in particular are vastly improved over the last couple of years and Croatia are recovering from the split form the former Yugoslavia – surely you get the sentiment of the article?

Great article. This is a stroke of genius on the part of Moyes, employing a scout to bring in promising eastern europeans. Russia and Croatia have brought through some promising youngsters in recent times and Moyes has realised that bringing in quality players for cut prices is key for Everton to progress.
