It would be so easy to slag and say yes there are two big clubs in the city Liverpool and Liverpool reserves, but as the story was written well I won’t. Liverpool FC have criminally neglected their merchandising opportunities during coco’s period as Chief Executive but one of the few good things the yanks have brought is an intent to merchandise our club better, we saw the opportunity and took it with both hands. From what I’ve been able to gather that whilst Liverpool FC were very pro-active in getting in on this Everton FC were not as pro-active. No doubt this will soon be put to bed and you can moan on about Clattenburg being a red and that he was on tour with Liverpool FC last summer whilst conviently forgeting that he went on tour with you lot in the summer of 2006.
